Subject: The 2016 bounty of FBS bowls

This will be the thread for the helmets of the 41 bowl games of the NCAA 1-A Football Bowl Subdivision. Only the final helmets for each team will be here; complete orders for all teams involved will be in the wrap-up post after the 1/9/17 National Championship Game ends.

April 2016 revealed that no more bowl games can be added until 2019 at the earliest (thanks to the forced addition of 5-7 teams to fill out the bowl schedule). But that does not control what new helmets may appear in the postseason, and right off the bat there are quite a few new helmets to add to the list:

12/17 New Mexico: New Mexico (M) defeated Texas-San Antonio (A)
12/17 Las Vegas: San Diego State (A) defeated Houston (L=white shell, red enlarged monocolored cougar head on both sides, no stripe, red mask, http://www.uhcougars.com/view.gal?id=200391)
