Thanks, and thanks also for the recent Texas A&M-Texarkana report. Both of these colleges fall into the "school I'd never heard of before they added football" category.

Bismarck State will have a unique team nickname - they're the "Mystics", and they have a bearded wizard-looking guy as their mascot and in their athletic logo.

I posted an article a few years back about Bismarck State on thinking of adding football. They were NJCAA until this year as a first year as a four year college. I guess you missed it, or you would have put them on the future as a possible new team.

The Bismarck Junior College Mystics played up until 1962.

I actually have a source that says the team lasted through 1985 - https://college-football-results.com/f/bismarks.htm

Most the schools at the time were Juco's except Jamestown and Mayville State who I assume were the JV teams.

Bismarck State previous had a football team. Their last season was 1985.
