Pro football is set to return to Europe this summer with eight teams in the new European League of Football. There's not much on the website (europeanleague.football), but the twitter account is very active (@elf_official). Thanks to an agreement with the NFL, it appears many old WLAF/NFLE identities will be resurrected:
Barcelona Dragons
Berlin Thunder
Hamburg Sea Devils
Frankfurt Galaxy
Cologne Centurions

The other initial franchises:
Stuttgart Scorpions
Ingolstadt Praetorians
Wroclaw Panthers

Great news! I was a big Rhein Fire fan of the old NFL Europe. I hope they eventually return to this new league.
