Silent looked Simba in the eyes, searching for something to say. Silent swallowed and then tried to think of something, maybe an elaborate lie.
We did go hunting, Lightning got something really big too....
Silent looked down at her paws, guilt building inside of her heart. She looked at Suki and shook her head, knowing that she couldn't lie to her only cub left.
Suki....We didn't go hunting....Lightning is gone....He wont be coming back for a very very long time...So long in fact that you might not ever see him again.
Silent reached out with her front paw and pulled Suki closer. Silent felt like crying again, but couldnt. Too many tears had been shed. The past was the past, she had to let it go.
