VU, Chicago State jockeying for Mid-Con slot--NW Indiana Post Tribune
The bottom line is this: Tonight’s game means everything, from who’s going to win the conference, decided by an assortment of tiebreakers in case of a tie to how the tournament will be seeded in Kansas City.

“This is definitely the biggest game in the history of the school,” Jones said. “We have an opportunity to go from worst to first.”

RPI STANDINGS--Kansas City Star
The Rating Percentage Index (RPI) has been used by the NCAA since 1981 to supplement the selection of at-large teams and the seeding of all teams for the NCAA basketball tournament. This list is an independent duplication of the RPI without input from the NCAA, which does not release the RPI to the public.

Bradley leads win by IUPUI--Indianapolis Star
Odell Bradley hit four consecutive free throws in the final 15 seconds to lead IUPUI past Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne 68-65 on Monday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Valpo Shoots For Outright Mid-Con Title Tuesday Against Chicago State--VU Website
On Tuesday, Valpo (14-12, 10-5) can capture the outright Mid-Continent Conference regular season championship with a victory over Chicago State (11-18, 9-6). The Crusaders, who have already claimed a share of their 9th Mid-Con regular season title, can secure the #1 seed in next week's Mid-Con Tournament with a win over the Cougars. If Chicago State wins, it will force a five-way tie for the regular season title (with IUPUI, Centenary and Oral Roberts). The result of Tuesday's game will determine the seeding for six of the eight teams in the Mid-Con Tourney.
