Subject: OU and Valpo BOTH CHOKED
In reply to: Valpo89 's message, "Re: Yes, if Oakland wins at ORU, I pick them for finals" on 09:23:02 02/21/04 Sat

Well, I was feeling pretty good at about 8:30 p.m. CST. VU broadcastsers said pre-game that Oakland led ORU by five in Tulsa and I was confident that Valpo would methodically defeat SUU. They had all week to prep.
Boy, did I feel stupid 45 minutes later.
Oakland gave up their lead easily and Valpo proceeded to lay the biggest egg in crunch time this side of Dinosaur Park (which is in Utah by the way.)
I wouldn't bet a nickel on VU winning 3 games in a row, and wouldn't bet a penny anymore on OU winning two.
