Such darkness arrives, as onyx sky frames that hill,
It seems Satan's hour, my heart never so sure!
Angry shadows curse, on a lone form, work their will,
Cruel timbers hug tortured limbs, an offering so pure.
Crowds swell and ebb, mosaic of jeering and pain,
I jostle and fall, maddened press tears at all reason,
Black sky at noontime, loudly crackles, without rain...
Pure Goodness condemned, Evil claiming its season!
In spite of mass cruelty and sapping of life,
Blood-cracked eyes look down at the scene,
A death-hold, Good and Evil, in one final strife,
Cries that they be forgiven leave His lips, do I dream?
Though eons my pass, and the world know me not,
One Truth, held so dear, in my sin-humbled heart,
"I saw God wash the world", leaving no trace of a spot,
As I drink that Truth in, new eternity will start!
