They had an article on the subject in the local paper just a days ago. Seems like the state of Oklahoma has only two offices and 12 agents to cover illegals statewide. Despite the fact that I35 and US 69 are two of the main routes for smuggleing them in.

Most of the cops have decided to just turn a blind eye to the problem because if they make an arrest, they end up having to house and feed them for weeks until someone shows up to get them.

Unless they are doing something blatently illegal, they just leave em be.
