Well that's great Pot. and also Marv. Long story short... The WTF above was spawned by surprise. I was going to send you a "not to worry" post but didn't have time. I arrived in Pascagoua about 5 pm on the 14th(my uncle paid my way. You see he knew my rep as a dry guy, haven't had any rain here for 117 straight days) we spent Wed. battening down (hid from the authorities about 4 pm when they were going door to door) about 7 pm had a big batch of grilled shrimp and boiled shrimp n peel with cajun rice and some sweet taters, go ahead and laugh but it was good. Lots of Lone Star beer (sorry no Greasy Dick) by 11pm we broke out the Browns Mule and sat on the sheltered side of the porch and spat at the beatles. By dawn we had it made. Thought of stopping by Pot's place (the addy I sent the olives to) but didn't know if he evaced or not, didn't have phone #)
I thought of delaying a few days as we have Hurricane Javier bearing down on us from the Baja and I kinda hoped we could finally get some rain, but not to be. Got out of N.O. and arrived here late last night.....Pot. tell us of your evac adventures also Marv, anything happen there????
