Oh well, I missed you. I listened a few minutes to a low power station that must have been in the Columbia area on 1250 AM. They tawked wid de same accent I do, so I rekin they wuz locals. :)

Not to worry. We stopped at Mickey Ds and made our contribution to the water table and fertility of the local landscape. :)

I got rooked into the trip by an old Air Force friend that I hadn't seen in 36 years. He wanted to see an Uncle's memorial marker at the city cemetary in Natchez. Then, I find out that said Uncle was a freakin' Yankee officer that was in charge of a unit of black soldiers. Sheesh!! Damn Yankee Sumbitch!! We found the marker. That's a right purty place. I reckon if you have to die, being buried in a nice place like that is the way to go.
