...............>>> Great work. I really like your choice of colors, and am a big "blues" fan as well. I like the Johnson thing. My wife and I are both painters... I do shacks, landscapes and historical stuff and Ms Marv does critters and pet portraits... We spend a lot of our time working from photos etc, and as usual keep a backlog of about three or four pieces on the back burner or on "hold"..... We don't have a website, and right now sell mostly to local folks. (word of mouth style).. What kind of prices do you have on your quilts?? Your work doesn't look like you will have any problem with the Guild. I went to HJC a few years back and several of my old classmates have dented the field of arts and crafts... Are you familiar with Robert Pickenpaugh (pottery) and W.R. Dunlap (Billy Ralph the Cool)... Dunlap and I shared a table in art class for a while..Pickenpaugh was photographer for the Hindsonian at the time I was on the staff. Both had more Git up and go with theirs than I did, and I derailed myself by getting married too soon... (to a nutcase I might add).. That's long over, but I missed out on the early beginnings when I was much younger... We do acrylic and watercolor mostly, and these days spend much more time on photography than painting, but we still slap a little pigment around on occasion... MG
