 Embrace me
in this other world,
a place I long to be,
to hold a dream tight,
to view its beauty,
inhale the sweet
scent, and tighten
the grip.
Don’t revoke my
needs,
place in my palm
and let me grasp,
erasing past.
Don’t pull this
from under my feet,
like taking sweets
from a child.
Let me have that
first taste
leaving me wanting
more, let this
dream be reality.
