The last one,
the only one,
to ever get to feel like this.
What about the others?
Have they ever been able to feel,
to feel the anger of injustice?
The sting of doubt?
The harsh feeling of hearbreak?
To listen to the ran drop off a
leaf so full of water it over flows?

They are all left behind.
As though the Christian rapture happened.
Why was I the one chosen to live this life?
Are they like me?
Am I like them?
Have they all been chosen to sleep in peace?
Am I the one who is truly left behind?
