Ha, ha!

Actually, COP back in the day was the official title for the school as a whole. Later on, the name was changed to UOP. But, even later, the name of COP came back as the name of a school within the university covering the arts and sciences. I've seen the lowercase "o" in some posts, but around the school, it's always capitalized. So, the normal mode of address is either Pacific (when referring to just the sports program) or UOP (for any aspect of the university, including sports).

At least we have a nice guy from another school writing to our board; the Sac board used to have idiots from Northridge and Montana who were so into their weak smack that they didn't even bother to check their own spelling and grammar!

Thanks!
