Subject: Yes, UOP gets another win!!!

Seeing as how it seems that Jon can't get near a computer ;-) I'm going to jump in here until he can.

UOP ran away from Cal State Northridge in the second half to win 78-66. The Tigers improved to 20-9, the 7th 20-win season in school history. CSUN fell to 12-16. Northridge led 36-34 at the half.

For Pacific, senior center Mike Preston had career highs in points (19) and rebounds (16) en route to a double-double. Eli Nolan chipped in 21 points, which included a pair of consecutive treys about midway through the second half, sparking a 11-0 run that put UOP ahead to stay at 55-44. The lead got as high as 15 at some points. UOP was 52.2% from the field in the second half, which destroyed the Matadors' 30.6%. CSUN sent various Tigers to the charity stripe a whopping 40 times, compared to 21 the other way. CSUN's Ian Boylan, the Big West Conference Freshman of the Year, led with 17 points. Senior Markus Carr ended his Matador stint with 15.

UOP will play the winner of the Utah State-Idaho game tomorrow night at 6. GO ELI K! GO TIGERS!!!
