I've never seen him play either. I saw his name on the 1st all state list and was wondering if maybe the Tigers were involved. I hadn't seen a picture of him until you I went to the website you provided. He's really thin, and definitely doesn't have the kind of body that Pacific likes in their big men. I would think given his physical stature that he'd redshirt wherever he went so that he could add some muscle. Let me know if you find any information on Newton's recruitment. Pacific recruits the Norcal Juco's pretty hard so it would be interesting to see if we're involved.
