Subject: Pacific Needs Some Big Guys
In reply to: Buckwheat 's message, "Tyler Newton" on 16:53:00 03/21/02 Thu

Thanks, Bucky. Pacific needs some big guys and Newton, a 6-10 sophomore from Burbank, played well at Shasta JC this year.

By the way, point guard Dorian Sims' Reading (Pa.) Central Catholic team was knocked off by Bishop Hannan (Scranton)last Saturday in the 2A semifinals of the Eastern Section of the Pennsylvania state tournament. Don't know how Sims did in his battle with Syracuse-bound Gerry McNamara. Sims reportedly was offered by Pacific this winter.
