True the tournaments haven't been too kind to us. They have allowed us to play big name competition (MSU, Wisconsin, Georgetown, ASU, Rutgers, etc.) without having to worry about the politics of a home and home, 2 for 1, or 3 for 1 deal. Although I hold out hope we can schedule some home and homes with Pac-10 teams, I think the tournament route is our best bet at big name competition.

Just a point of clarification, the Georgetown win came after Allen Iverson left for the pros. It was against a Victor Page lead Georgetown team that coincidentally made the NCAA tournament. The only reason I remember that is because a good friend of mine is a big Georgetown fan. He wouldn't shut up about how the Hoyas, Victor Page, and Jahidi White were going to take it to us. Let's just say he hasn't lived that game down since. :)

Also, wasn't the tourney where we played Rutgers and Texas A&M at U of A rather than ASU?
