Woods To Take Pair Of Trips

Jonathan Woods, a 6-7, 220 pound sophomore combination forward from South Plains College in Levelland, Tex., will take a pair of trips to California based colleges this spring.

South Plains Head Coach Steve Green told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Woods will visit Pacific University and the University of San Francisco in the coming weeks.

A lefty from Phoenix, Ill., Woods is a good rebounder who plays mostly a finesse offensive game. He has legitimate range out to 17 feet, and likes to post up and shoot short turnaround jumpers on the low block.
Winthrop had shown some early interest in Woods back in the fall, according to Coach Green. But right now San Fran and Pacific are making heavy pushes to land Woods.

We'll keep you posted on his situation in the coming weeks, so stay tuned
