Traditionally we aren't that good, but that can be decieving since we play in the most difficult conference in the NCAA, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), and since there are only a had full of schools that play Men's Volleyball. Usually the national champion comes out of the MPSF (usually UCLA or Stanford). As for Coach Wortmann the jury is still out. When I was a student several of the Volleyball players I knew didn't have great things to say about him, but he's in a non revenue/non priority sport so I'm not sure if things are going to change. His career record is 83-119. I don't think making Coach McHugh do double duty is the answer, but then again inserting Elsa Stegemann in the lineup might help. ;)
