Subject: Enzweiler Transfers to Cal Poly

Here's a press release from Cal Poly. By the way, Oregon State has released its schedule and Pacific isn't on it. They host Idaho and Cal Poly in non-league games and Philip Ricci returns to his roots on Saturday, December 14 at Sacramento State.

Bromley Signs Two More

May 15, 2002

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA - Cal Poly head men's basketball coach Kevin Bromley announced
the signing of Nick Enzweiler to an offer of financial aid and Kale Kovalski to a national letter
of intent.

Enzweiler, a 6-foot-7 transfer from the University of Texas El-Paso who will have to sit out
the 2002-03 season, averaged 6.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season for the
Miners. He started 16 of 31 games at Texas-El Paso with a season high of 17 points against
Fresno State and 15 points in a game against San Jose State. A native of Moraga, CA,
Enzweiller went to Campolindo High School where he led the state in scoring as a senior with
30.4 ppg along with 12.4 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game in earning the San Francisco
Examiner's Bay Area Player of the Year honor.

"Nick was a prolific scorer in high school and has gone through the wars of Division I
basketball having played in the WAC," said Bromley. "He will bring maturity, character, and a
great personality to Cal Poly basketball. He will fit perfectly in our system and I fully expect
him to be a double-figure scorer and leader."

Kovalski, a 6-foot-2 guard from Otero Junior College, was a First-Team All-Region IX in
Colorado this past year with 15.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg. He averaged 4.9 assists per game and
defensively picked up 4.6 steals a game. A 77.8 percent free throw shooter, Kovalski scored
28 points twice last season against NW Wyoming and Mid Plains CC, the alma mater of
Bromley.

"Kale is a player that out-thinks his opponents," said Bromley. "He really knows how to play
the game and take advantage of other player's weaknesses. He is very versatile in that he
can play both guard positions equally well and is a total team player. He was the leading
scorer and assist man at Otero JC. His team won over 40 games during his two seasons and
he is a winner. We are very pleased to have him join us."
