Thank you, Rev. Dr. Smethers, for this ministry that equips individuals and other ministries for Christ. Thank you for making it the standard for equipping God's servants where they are unable (or do not desire) to attend seminary. This is a mighty work!

I have been ordained since January 2003. Through the years God has blessed my family very dearly. There have been some very difficult times in my life. But God has been a very pleasant help to me.

In 2008 I lost my brother in law Steven due to a liver transplant complication. However in August 2008 I became an associate pastor with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines. We do not ordain homosexuals. We are not nor have we ever been a part of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines. In fact our sister Church in America is the Disciples of Christ.

Since I have been ordained through the United Christian Ministries International my denomination says there is no need to re ordain. According to the Word of God in Ephesians 4:5 There is One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism. According to our denomination once you have been ordained you are ordained and it is not Biblical to re-ordain an individual a second time. Therefore, I will only be reconfirmed as an ordain pastor but my covering will be with the United Christian Ministries International.

I am presently working in Northern Samar Philippines under the NORWESCON Conference of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines. I will be celebrating my third year anniversary with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines of the University of Eastern Philippines Church.

With Love in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior

Dear UCMI Family,
I have been Ordained by God through UCMI since 2002, and since have officiated at several weddings, funerals, and preached the Word of God on too many occasions to count; but for the last five years I have been serving a volunteer visitation ministry to one of the prisons here in Maryland. God spoke to my heart through Matthew 25:34-40, "When you did it for the least of these My brothers, you did it for Me." When I go inside that place that is intended to punish, I see the face of God in those men and together we share the Holy Spirit of God!

The guys see in me, another regular guy, a blue collar mechanic and welder, who God uses as a pastor to them, what a Mighty God we serve, that God could take me, a former nasty, vulgar, swearing construction man, and grace me to bring the Good News to my brothers inside!

I received ordination from UCMI in 2005 just after leaving the military and accepting my first church staff position as an Associate Pastor at a Community Church.

Since that time I have completed a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree and a Masters Degree in Church Ministry from a prominent Evangelical Seminary and also received a call to a historic Congregational Church which I now serve as Pastor.

What a blessing that UCMI has been in my life! The credentials require a careful examination of the candidate and I am pleased to submit an annual report of my activities each year for accountability purposes.

If you are considering UCMI for credentialing I strongly recommend them!

Brother Smethers,

I just want you to know I'm still out here ministering, studying and learning! And, it's all because of your wonderful ministry.

Although I work part-time for a CDC as a Certified Business Trainer, to just minimally support my own ministry - and I've never gotten my own "business" non-profit pieces done for lack of funds for legal and accounting advice and expertise - I've still been used of the Lord as a chaplain at the local hospital, chaplain and the senior day care center, a funeral for a childhood friend - and now have established help from the Word of God on my website.

Over the last 3 years, the Lord has allowed me to win 29 people to the Lord, that I know about!!!

One of the greatest blessings I have had, was being asked to preach at the Homecoming Service of my original childhood church, started in 1849 as a camp meeting, and the current building was built by my great-great grandfather in the 1890's.

My now 90-year old father was "in shock" having his daughter in the pulpit for such an occasion, but the Lord gave the message on on "family" including the Family of God.

Out of the 57 people there, the Lord blessed with one salvation and one rededication -- and He made sure the very clear plan of salvation was understood by all, including every member of my immediate family.

I intend to complete my degrees with UCMI, and just want to thank you for not allowing the artificial "divisions" in the body of Christ to keep from working with all of us. Even though I have been a Methe-Bapti-Costal, and love the Word of Faith teachings - I laud you for your work.

A BIG THANK YOU for my license, ordination, and certifications, as well as church charter! I intend to serve the Lord until my last breath - one person at a time if necessary.

Again - thank you for your work . . .

What a joy it is to serve the LORD Jesus Christ!! What a joy it is to be accepted as a minister and servant of the KING!! What a joy to be able to officiate at weddings, and even a joy at Christian funerals. What a joy to see young and old learn about Jesus Christ in Sunday school. What a joy to have a worldwide fellowship with UCMI!! And certainly what a joy to be able to encourage and be encouraged by the saints who are a part of UCMI. Thanks to Brother Steven for his vision for Jesus' ministry here on the earth. Let us all "be thankful always and pray continually" for this ministry which is a part of Jesus' lovely church!!

Dear Brother Steve and UCMI. I have taken too long to thank you for the Ordination I received from UCMI in 1999. Since then I have sponsored a Crusade in Nigeria and helped someone with their Crusade in Ethiopia. Thousands have been saved! To top it off, I would not have been able to receive my Pastoral position had it not been for UCMI Ordination - I had the desire, the experience and the Lord, but not the ordinational. God bless and thank you so much Pastor Steve. I intend to join the Thursday night chat again - it's been about 6 years!

Yes, I too give thanks to God for Bro Steve. I've been a minister with UCMI since November 1999 and have referred a dear brother and sister to this wonderful area on the web for their credentials.
I have not been a frequent visitor these months on the UCMI site, but I'm glad to see it's evolvement!
Thank God, that I'am putting to use my credentials here in Montreal. I've been busy pastoring over 80 children at my local assy, ministering in churches, producing an almost 5 year/ 15 mins radio program, and ministering on the internet with my ministry's new streaming internet radio station www.ejnm.net (english, french, italian & spanish).

Dear Bro. and Sis in Christ. This minisrty is so annointed it's AWSOME!!, Praise Jesus!I've been with Bro. Smethers since July 22nd 1999 and I have seen so many possitive changes his www site; it is a Blessed ministry with true Bible teaching. And Sue what can I say, BTW Benji's still in my prayers, God's going to watch out for him, Amen. I'm so proud to be affiliated with UCMI it has truely blest me in many ways; I went back to school because Of Bro. Steve he got me in the Sprit to learn more so now I'm a Chemical Dependancy Practitioner student, I hope to graduate in Dec.And to work in the Christian community as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor, I believe the LORD has reveled this in my heart so Im trusting on HIM to help this Spirit make it through anouther semester AND LORD willing I'll be done, keep me in your prayers I'm 41 and in class with kids that I could be there Father, makes me feel old when sitting next to a 19 year old but I usually give them a Sripture pop and a Pocket testiment and they ask question's theres also a "Chatch the Spirit Bible study" I have a heart for College kids I've prayed with them and loved them when they couldnt love themselves. And Ive gotta tell you the Pocket Testiment League has been a Blessing to us with scripture, our small Church could not afford to buy N.T.s and they give me 100 at a time for FREE and never beg for a cent, PTL they are also an anointed ministry. College kids in the community are very much been over looked; I find them ready to recive the Spirit, many come from a very churched as well as unchurched backgroud's drugs , alcohol and sex are the first things they learn on campus so if you can reach out to these kids in some way do it youll make an impression on them they wont forget , for many its there first time to be out of the home. I'll be doing my 50th wedding this summer PTL I just love a good ol' wedding and it supports the ministry thats AWSOME! I charge anywere from the $50 to $250 with a fifty dollar wedding I meet with the couple one month prior to the wedding collect a downpayment and counsel and suggest for two to three hours. A formal wedding I get two hundred and fifty dollars it usually falls between the two in price but for a formal wedding they get three counseling sessions alot of advice and I have the responsibility to find the Church also and generally they will want a unity candle which these days seems to be the fad BTW I did alot of free advertising on the web at wedding sites. If anyone knows of relatively easy fundraiser's beside BINGO, LOL, email me with your suggestion I've had a Prohetic dream last month to start House Churches so right now I've got one started I believe Jesus Christ is calling his people out of the main denominations back to the Church of HIS kind
and that was in peoples homes Amen!,right now I'm at the size of the group that I'ts time to split it into anouther home group, were up to 12 regulars so its time to Multiply Amen! this has been a blessed ministry. Bro. Steve is a good man to me. When I became a minister he ans. many questions for me and filed me with alot of prayer and just a little proding but he inspired me not only in the Ministry of our LORD and Savior but he as I said encouragemed me through my studies with the UCMI institute to return to my college studies AMEN! Bro. Steve do you remember how you told me how to get a nice suit go to "Goodwill", I still shop there for suits to wear LOL!! I'm asking you all to pray for my Brother to be saved his name is Chris so just print this letter out and pray over it cause I always need prayer. Hey JamesLA he is on FIRE for the LORD I was at Bible study one night and he just started I couldnt keep up with him he was Pouring out some Holy Spirit annointed preaching, James I have a profetic word for you get yourself into the prison ministry if you can I beleive you have alot of Souls to reach there. SueNY I'd like to exchange phone numbers with you if your interested in talking to me in person I have free calling email me at RevDave18@netscape.net I'd just like to chat with you I know you have alot to teach about prayer; If anyone else wants to exchange phone numbers with me write me put "UCMI" in the subject or even just to chat online. Well I'm running out of time here so God Bless you all for listening to me like I said if anyone wants to email, chat or exchange phone numbers that would be great just email me at the above address. Well again God Bless you all!!

Greeting, I am Chaplain Rodger DeRamus and I have been accepted into the United States Corp of Chaplains, a Christian, volunteer, public service organization whose main ministry is to perform military funerals(Honors)for all of our retired, former, and active duty military members. With the war in full force, many Chaplains are needed even with the Chaplains that are available in the Military.
We are also involved with disaster preparedness and recovery, ministeriing to those who have been affected in any way from a natural or even a man-made disaster.
With this ministry, the UCMI, I was able to join in the ministry that I have felt called to do. I may not be a pulpit minister, but I can be a presence for those in need and hurting. Thanks Bro. Steve. You Are MY Friend.

Hello, I am Rev. James L. Taylor. I was ordained by UCMI in January 2003. My call of God was clear. I had ministry work that had to be done. I was burdened for those who are incarcerated in jails as well as those who have no knowledge of the saving Power of Jesus Christ. My ordination with UCMI has opened many doors for me. No longer did I have to have friends slip me into the prison to witness for the Lord.
I also have an internet ministry, Burning Light Ministries which has also continued to grow. God has used me to do a lot of interim pastoring recently after our Pastor felt led to leave to serve in another area. I praise God for every opportunity to serve Him.
I have taken both the associate degree and BA degree courses through UCMI. They helped immensly to gain the knowledge I need to do greater service for the King of Kings. I reccommend them to everyone.
We are blessed to have Bro. Steve as our leader, a man who has given his whole heart and life to the service of others, and who seeks God face consistantly that he may lead us. I also appreciate the fellowship meeting every Thursday for those of us associated with UCMI. What a great time of fellowship and prayer that has given me strength in difficult times. God is good.

It is a blessing and pleasure to be with the UCMI.

The call to ministry is a hand, and much to get done.Yet all too often the only choice is to sacrifice precious years in academic pursuit to give denominational validation to vocational ministry.

On the other end is the frustration with lack of academic or sturctural integrity in the pursuit of a more expediant avenue. At UCMI I have found that both of these important needs are abundantly met. Expediant opportunity for pastoral lincening so one can get about the calling at hand, yet an integrity based Christ centered covering ministry,a strong pastoral peer network, and scripture grounded academic resources that are solid and diverse.

Thank you for your vital ministry in equiping the saints to respond effectively to the calling of His highest.

Yours in Christ

I appreciate UCMI being so helpful and open to encourage ministry to have access to so many venues.
I am Georgia Egge and have been ordained for a couple of years now. I have a mid-week morning service in my church teaching truths about the Kingdom of God and helping others reach their potential in God. Also, I am working in the Amazon Jungle training pastors and leaders in that area.
Recently I have authored a book called, "Georgia of the Jungle" which speaks of my life with all the adventures I have had. There is much teaching in the book helping others deal with life's issues so they can be used of God to a greater extent. May God richly bless you for His glory.

This year I have 4 weddings and 5 Baptisms. For many non-denominational and independant ministries there a feeling of being alone. With UCMI that is not the case. I have spent many Thursday evenings in the fellowship hall with Bro. Steve (Sr. Pastor and Founder)and others and have always come away encouraged and blessed. This is a strength of this ministry that I am truly grateful for. Jesus has truly brought this international collection of ministers and ministries together and any evangelical called of God to Christian ministry who needs a place to belong will find one here.

I thank God for Brother Steve and UCMI. He has been true to his calling and we have benefited from the fruit. He has planted the seed and the Lord has brought the increase. Like a stone thrown into a lake, the ripples created by Bro. Steve and UCMI have far reaching eternal effects. So many people hear the Gospel preached effectively by Ministers who desired instruction. We have gained a deeper understanding of the Word of God from the course instruction and also recieved credibility in the secular world through the degrees conferred.

May Almighty God continue to bless the mission of UCMI and lead them victoriously into the future.

Without UCMI, Harvest Wind Ministries Inc. would not be here to serve Jesus. If I had not been directed by the Lord Jesus to get ordained and step out. None of the blessings that I am receiving would I be enjoying now.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Ron S. IL

I want to personally thank U.C.M.I. for obeying God in the
ordination of persons called of God to minister in the name
of our Lord Jesus Christ, many persons probably wouldnt't
have fit into man's category as qualified to minister the
gospel, or into most denominational rules and guidelines,
including myself, but thanks to U.C.M.I. i'm ministering
the gospel and pastoring a small community church and seeing
people growing in the Lord, and lives being changed.Pray for
our work in the Lord.

I am Pastor Roger (Wayne) Estes I was ordained in 2001 by UCMI, God has used me and my father to go into downtown St. Louis, Missouri to meet the needs of families needing furniture, clothing and some food. We formed Zoe Life Ministries to help disciple the people that the world have discarded as lost cases. God has given us grace among the people down there. At 11pm in an alley we meet 6 kids from the ages of 7 to 16 yrs old and they gave their lives to Jesus that night. We were the only carcasion people out there at that time. God is great and greatly to be praised.

I am Pastor Sharon Marks,MD President/founder of The Father's Cry Ministry International. I received ordination through UCMI in May of '99. God has given me an international ministry with a base in Tenali India. It is overseen by Apostle John Kishore who is India National President. Presently there are 53 churches, a church planting Bible school, a youth alliance league, I.H.O.P.E. Childrens Orphanage in India under the umbrella of this ministry. I have a ministry staff in the US of 3 advisors (spiritual--to keep me in God's will at al times--accountability) A international Vice President Rev.Cyndy Plummer (ordained through TFCMI) who is also an evangelist/ psalmist. We minister throughout the NE and live in CT. I am presently looking for a worship team with own equipment to open a worship and prayer house that will eventually be 7 days a week as staff grows. Thank UCMI for letting God gualify the called. Too often man wants to call the "qualified". If one looks at scripture it was always the ones no one else saw anything in that God saw everything in! Again, thank you so much for allowing me to serve my Lord in the fullness He intended. God bless you so very much!

HELLO, I AM EVG. MICHAEL SOUDER AND I THANK GOD FOR UCMI AND ALL THE MATERIALS THEY HAVE PROVIDED. I AM CURRENTLY WORKING WITH TWO MUSLIMS AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND HAVE PRESENTED THE GOSPEL TO THEM AS A FRIEND. ONE MUSLIM IS NAMED MOHAMMED LACDAR AND HE IS OPEN TO THE GOSPEL, PRAISE THE LORD AND THE OTHER IS MAKING A POSSIBLE DECISION FOR CHRIST! PRAISE GOD. THE LORD PROMISED HIS WORD WILL NOT COME BACK TO HIM VOID ISAIAH 55:11. SO EVEN THOUGH SOME MAY REJECT THE GOSPEL,WE DO KNOW THE SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED. I GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO THE LORD FOR THE FRUITS OF HIS WORD, FOR WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT BEHIND THE WORD OUR HUMAN EFFORTS WOULD BE NOTHING.

Hello,
Some of you know me. I am Hoyt Noel Jr. When I was called to preach the gospel, I was a member of a very legalistic Baptist church. I went through all the hoops to be licensed, but a few diehards kept me from getting my license. It was not because I did not have the annointing to preach, it was all about power and politics. Not to be discouraged, I sought out Brother Steve, and UCMI. I was ordained September 13, 2000. The story does not end there. Steve encouraged me, and I met some others at UCMI that encouraged me as well. I sought training, and I recieved an education at UCMI that has helped me immensely to direct the talents the Lord has given me to be more productive in my ministry. June 10, 2001, I was called to preach at a little church in Roanoke, Ala. and am now the senior pastor there. The Lord is not finished with me yet. Every day, I feel closer to God, every day, I feel that my ministry is moving mountains by the Holy spirit, and every day, I thank God I found UCMI.
In the love of Jesus,
