The NFL of today is world with a so-so parity paradigm, Harry ... get with the program!

I'd think you'd be supercharged with the way Gruden wants to expand the offense with the 2 TEs & the way Gresham can drag defenders Gronko-style for YAC.

Dalton is also a special talent who will be able to just friggin' ORCHESTRATE an offense once all the components (which #14 has proved he'll throw it to everyone & has actual prescience in the pocket to help minimize OL substandardy) can be brought up to speed around him (mostly through having the entire offseason program to much more fully implement what it is he wants to do) ... I don't think Dalton was the limiting factor at all but actually Gresham & 89Urkel being not too swift in the upstairs dept (as those guys tend to be) exerting drag on the in-season learning curve were what held them back from the midpoint on. Plus you can look forward to haunting the bowels of PBS & taking over my preseason Georgetown obsession with observing the early machinations & reporting (or not) the same (early tip: try to identify the incidence of the BOOOORIIING special teams-heavy practices and AVOID them like the plague).

& if you think about it, many poo(h)-poo(h) the idea of Marvin having been to the playoffs 3 out of his however many years, (which somehow he rather unfairly bears the weight of the same number of appearances for one MFB in 20), but he also ALMOST made it the first year in when the clowns brought us down to 8-8, the Justin Smith tackle travesty in Tampa robbed him/us of another appearance as well as the OT loss to the stillers when Shane shanked his first gutwrenching potential season-saver (I forget, those first two didn't both happen in the same season, did they?), so it easily could have been more.

Go to patkirwin.com & check out the material there & really bone up on what's going on on the field may rekindle some interest ... I even indulged m'self in some J@w-bashing over on the Jungle board 'tuco touts this week just for shits & giggles.
