Mallory and I spent a week in Boston a couple of years ago and had a blast. We did mostly historical touristy stuff (freedom walk, plymouth rock, etc) but we loved it. If you are downtown, definitely walk to the north end for a meal - old brick roads with maybe a thousand different small hole-in-the-wall italian restaurants, where I suspect a vegetarian can find plenty on the menu. We had one of our best meals of the week there for probably $10 or $15 a pop.

Even if Mrs Chambo isn't a sports fan, Fenway is a special historic place to watch a baseball game - Mrs Waldo loved it! Might make for a fun evening if the Red Sox are in town.
