According to the Brennan Center for Justice, things aren't as bad as some might want to lead you to believe? It does seem that a more nonpartisan coalition should be in charge of administering & counting votes, or at least a more bipartisan configuration co-watchdogging each other? Probably would have to go hand in hand with campaign finance reform?
