Almost every team lays at least 1 stinker every season. Just look at pissberg's gm 1 effort vs the ratbirds or several of the same ratbirds' flameouts subsequently, yet both of those teams are ranked at the top of the league now.

Marvin's boys actually addressed the recent problems of coming out slow & falling behind by scoring on the first possession on the road, only to have rampant Bungalism to real its ugly head in the form of a WR false start (I'm thinking Ocho was somewhere furiously working the voodoo doll on that one) to trigger the avalanche.

Every game so far they've managed to keep choppin' the wood & correct course & continuing to compete IN-GAME, so I'm still optimistic they can do this in this next game.

brainfry & I have been remarking on the "Perfect Storm" aspect this season of My Precious Tissue Paper Tigers (i.e. "Worst Team in Pro Football, EVER"), so you'll get to observe firsthand where we just now merely hit the calm at the eye of that storm or whether it was a head on collision with the oncoming train from out of the proverbial tunnel painted on the cliff wall.

I knew going in that BR to WRs vs our depleted secondary was the primary mismatch which could only be (somewhat) negated by front 4 pass rush & 5finger takeaways but there was just too much injury (Dunlap & Fat Pat) there to overcome ...
