While I have wrestled with some admittedly quite Deist viewpoints on God, destiny, the world, etc. along the lines above that God is way too in to free will and a bit too busy running the entire universe to meddle in trifling matters such as football games, I could see where He might choose to bless a player who happens to put out a lot of good word for him with his fellow mortals and is widely known as such. On ther other hand, maybe Tebow just has the mental makeup of a winner despite the limitations on his throwing mechanism...
