Subject: Santorum newest flavor-of-the-month?

Pretty fortunate timing for him, mostly due to intentional old school press-the-flesh campaign. I don't see how him being at odds with half the electorate (i.e. women) in the banning contraception stance would ever allow him to actually become President. Newt sees his most relevance now as Santorum's spear-carrier/blocking fullback/attack dog as a way to maximize his true endgame agenda (re)positioning himself as network media talking head/blathering 'idea' man cottage industry, mainly drawing fire away from the fragility of the Santorum 'surge' to keep propping RS up at this stage to get him as much traction as po$$ible.

76-year old "Long haul" Paul will just keep slogging ahead endlessly flinging monkey-wrenches as the matinee figurehead of the Libertarians (to eventually pass the torch to Rand down the road, if nothing else), with his followers & machiavellian moderates & young voters mostly responsible for the (barely) "record turnout" in Iowa, NOT any particular fevered wave of conservative fervor by a fired up (not) base.

Do you think Michele Bachmann really believes the line of Faux News lying tripe conning narrative she continually spews? Her 'concession' speech last night just really cemented her as a mere copycat Palin trying to become an annointed spokesman figurehead.

Mr. 25% is really just a tool of the 1% ... ho hum. I guess that means 25% of the conservative base is buying (& will continue to buy) the standard con con hook, line & sinker?

The Rs really only have one common 'strategic' skill among them: ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!! Ideas? Not so much.
