Their injuries were plentiful and quite damaging.

Add their entire DL to the list. Lost DE Smith early in the yr, lost backup NT Hoke a month or so back. Then lost the remaining starters NT & DE during the game. LB Woodley was still limping from a hammy.

But ya know what? All of it still might not have mattered if Ben were healthy. I said early on that they are an ordinary team without Pig Pen. When they face a good QB, the D gets exposed. The OL sucks and cant open things up for RBs anymore. They havent ever protected Ben, he was just able to escape before. Limping, he couldnt escape.

One more thing, for all his genius, LeBeau got beat yesterday. After a few series, it seemed like his D had no idea what to do with Tebow. They overplayed the run and got beat deep. They overcommit to one side ( just like we do ) and got beat on the back side. Yes, it was a thing of beauty!!
