... somehow they've 'seen' all along how this particular outfit might ultimately lack the ability to respond (for whatever reason(s)) i.e. avoiding the "lapses" & actually making the difference?

I actually had to search for background on the 200K crack, since I don't pay much attention to recruiting news anymore (assuming Cal will get the best every year so that guys have to leave because better ones are coming in to push them out of minutes if they don't) ...
