We actually leave for Cincy today on a 5pm flight...flying back next Thursday, so we've got plenty of quality time with Mel & Bob, so keep your fingers crossed that I don't return with more Exciting! Shocking! Appalling! developments in SchaefferWar2002.

Actually, it should be fun...my sister and her hubbie will be there...she's due with her first baby in March...my bro Adam and his now fiance will be there too. We'll probably take Andrew to the aquarium and do some other fun stuff...see some old friends, etc.

As for cool gifts...you asked for one...but I'm going to give you two! Andrew loves trucks, especially a school bus, and he also loves balls (yes, he even plays with his own...). So, we found him a huge inflatable school bus that comes with 100 plastic balls. It's one of those things like at Chuck E Cheese and amusement parks where the kids can play in a ball filled environment.

The other gift is for my mom (from all three kids and spouses)...but Laura and I organized it. We put together a gift basket that has a gift certificate for two 1.65 pound lobsters and 2 pounds of steamers to be shipped overnight from Maine (Price? $80. Price if we bought it ourselves for dinner here at home? $25. You outta town folks get hosed on Lobster prices...), together with a couple of lobster bibs, two lobster forks, a nice handtowl for the mess, a little stone lobster that supposedly keeps water from boiling over, two butter dishes that hold a candle underneath to keep the butter warm, and two nice candles. We think it was a thoughtful gift...even it came from us bad seed kids!
