Subject: I have a confession to make

I'm one of those guys who waits to the last second to buy --primarily because I got no idea what to get. You see we draw names at Xmas time and try to buy one really super gift for the person we draw.

However, this year I do have a few more excuses to add -- I just found out last week that I have my sister Lou Ann's name and I'm just now getting over a bout of bronchitis that had me feeling pretty lousy for the last week.

Lou Ann is in a rather crappy situation at home -- Hubby has a software business that frankly is a part time business at best. Lou Ann has basically had to function as primary breadwinner and has been going to school to become -- drumroll please -- a nurse at the same time.

Needless to say she is stressed to the max and it doesn't help much that hubby and the 2 young kids don't clean up the house, etc. On top of that Lou Ann is a pack rat so when you go into their house it's your basic disaster area.

So... what I'm thinking for XMas is Maid Service for a year? Good idea?
