it took 35 years, but I got my first white Christmas yesterday. As cool as it was, I got no problems boarding a plane and heading for Los Angeles tomorrow.

Happy New Year's to all. May the Browns be at practice when it rolls around. May all tort reform measures die at the hands of the lawyers' lobby. May England be once again taken seriously in the world. May the entire U.S. teen population suddenly find the urge to devour the works of Thoreau. May U.K. settle on a coach that also wants them. May Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson be struck by lightning (and not blame it on white folks). May all smokers once again be able to trample over ther rights of those health-nut nazis....

Well, 2002 was yet another fucked up 12 months (although another happy one for me personally). If nothing else, it proved to be a banner year for cynics such as myself (and all of you, as well). take care, folks.
