and my advice to wildchild at the time of this call was to call some hospital ob-gyn dept or Ask-a-Nurse or something. it never actually occurred to me that tweezers were going to be any kind of option. this was like early on a friday night and i worked all the rest of the weekend and never knew about any of it until sometime the next monday or so (and by this time we really didn't spend tooo much time together anyway - there's lot's of other little stories of dementia and wonderment i may get around to telling).
