... or rather, what was he given the antibiotics for? some history of bacterial infections or bronchitis? hopefully not for a cold (which is viral). he needs to build back up with acidophilus, because the 'good' bacteria in the intestine is the mechanism by which digested nutrients get into the bloodstream to fight infections (and everything else health related). antibiotics sort of make you 'starve' a little by killing them off for you.
