our babysitter has been in the hospital all week (that's not the psych up part) and Toni and I have been tag teaming on taking care of Sam. Yesterday was my day. Dropped him off at preschool and for the first time, was there to pick him up. The door opens at 12:30 and Sam, who is on the other side of the room, spots me. His eyes got wide and he started sprinting (sprinting 3-yr-olds are quite a site). When he reaches me, he give me a giant hug around the leg, kisses my hand and literally screams, "You are the best daddy in the whole world." I almost cried. It's an indescribable feeling. It's gonna suck when he gets a little older and decides I'm a lamer.
