... also enjoying the continuing exploration of mood disorder storyline on ER. it was pretty clear that last week that was where they were going with Abby's brother (and i wasn't diagnosed until i was 31, so that's totally plausible that he wouldn't be diagnosed until late, especially having familial knowledge to be able to mask, despite Dr. Mistakenly rule out the obvious Carter's blah blah to the contrary. and it wouldn't be an either/or call on the PTSD diagnosis, biploar would actually make you more susceptible to that as a co-morbid feature. the stress of an air traffic controller job would be something that would be a hell of a trigger in general for the susceptible population, too.
