... with yours truly being completely exposed 4 times (twice each by LB and BFIH, who is in all likelihood an actual demon, at least at chess). next time i'll have to polish up at least a few games in anticipation, as my match with Dawgman was the last actual competitive game i had played before this weekend, lol. Bg even jumped in and actually could have taken LB to the mat, i think, but lacked the vision to fully take advantage of the opportunities that i think he created for himself (he claims not to know how to play, only picking it up from his son, who is taking formal lessons from someone).

thoroughly enjoyed Waldo's rendition of that Hootie ND Blowfish number he does (what a stage presence!) as well as the aforementioned My Way. i completely butchered my first number, which was Impossible Dream with some slightly adapted lyrics. i'm used to singing along with The King's soulful Live from Madison Square Garden version, and this arrangement clipped along at a much more rapid pace than i'm accustomed to, and i was sorta cornered into some kind of sluggishly confused caveman vocals played partly for laughs ... ugggh. Patsy Cline's Crazy (for loving the Bengals) adapted fairly well, also with plenty of opportunity for some trademark howling. surprisingly, people seemed to rather enjoy my a cappella Sexual Life of the Camel, now sure to become an annual (and ever more lyrically customized) event, lol. BFIH also proved himself to be quite the soulful crooner, and the all-black clad EZR falls somewhere within a continuum encompassing a drunked-up Kris Kristofferson (the voice), a white haired Perry Como (the visage, if you were on acid) and Keith Richards (the style), with perhaps some stray Henry Rollins thrown in. but my favorite number of the entire weekend was a rather homely and chunky blonde (sort of reminding me of a female version of CaB) on Saturday night at the Ft. Wright Sports, bar who torchily adapted a show-stopping rendition of David Lee Roth's Just a Gigolo as Just Another Ho ... "IIIIIIIII'm sooo hot & Horrrrrnnnnnnnneeeeeey (hot & horny, hot & horny) .... come an' take a chance with me, 'cause i ain't so bad ...". imo, she brought the house down! Cattin' and Bg were perhaps a little less obnoxious with their exhibitionism (or else i have just learned to mostly ignore it), and that little pest actually begged/whined/cajoled the official Tigger hand puppet away from me, mostly just to shut her up from continually begging it away from me (she was offering me upwards of $20 for the damn thing when i initially said i'd have to think about it, which i got for 2.98 at Big Lots). let me tell ya, i believe i'd have to routinely kick her in the ass or something if i had to spend much more than two consecutive hours in close quarters with her.

and BFIH (sorry for having to get off the phone with you so abruptly today, but i had just gotten up and was elbow deep in you don't even want to know at the time, lol) actually got to meet at least 5, count 'em 5, actual Bengals players during the course of MC, 'Wedge, him and i being included in the postgame Tiggerizing with his bestest bunghole buddies (he also randomly ran into Chad Johnson while we were at Willie's after the game, to boot). and Gary was quite loud and obnoxious, drunkenly reeling around after the game. and isleblateasusual incredibly did make the tailgate this time in time to actually sample a jello shot and barbecue sammich or two ... and man, was it ever cold on Sunday - just glad it was dry instead of the wet friday that we endured. never, ever had the feeling that the Bengals were going to win this one either, even though it was that close. seems like the Couch could connect on that little crossing route into Simmons's area of the field the whole game whenever he needed to ... adjustments are apparently going to remain beyond the scope of what it is that this coaching staff actually considers to be an actual part of their job on gamedays.
