... stupid stories with stupid characters lurching around mouthing daytime soap opera-style (in both direction and delivery) stupid bullshit lines? i'm not buying anybody's motivations or what allegedly passes for characterizations at all ... i know that Kelly shows can typically go through lulls in quality, but this is like it was hacked out back during the writers' strike or something. the Lipshitz thing this week was just a maudlin hamfest with no thought involved to bringing it off convincingly at all and those two backstreet gay-bob new teachers, are they actually supposed to be friggin' clowns or something like that or what? lol i mean just look at them 'act' sometime! this used to be a semi-superior show in the beginning, with somewhat of a dropoff in the second season, but now this?? of course, i also noticed Smallville was approaching something of a stilted (though still interesting) crap-fest this week too, so maybe i'm just going through some periodic evolutionary paradigm consciousness-raising or something, but i don't really think so ... so what's the skinny?


and anybody else watching David Morse in Hack besides me?
