Subject: my liver happens to be fine
In reply to: bfny 's message, "her liver intact?" on 06:32:27 12/04/02 Wed

but funny you should mention it, Dawg had to go on the IR with a broken liver. His words. He's out for the season. I was day-to-day with bruises on both hands, the back of my right calf (the size of a dinner plate and I didn't fall! It's an unsolved mystery), and a rather large hematoma on my little finger. See, there was this metal wall behind our seats.......suffice to say, I pounded it like crazy when something good happened (which was all day) in lieu of my usual cowbell ringing. It's all on the two Saints fans who were next to us. Evidently, that's what they do and they were stupid enough to start it. I finished it and them....they were out of their seats before the second quarter. I didn't notice the bruising and swelling until later. Dawg says I was beating the hell out of it and he thought, 'oh great, she's going to tear down the Superdome'.

Our trip started out by being on the same flight as Bob&Tom and Chick McGee (from Indy to Charlotte, they had some gig or something there). Of course they're in 1st class so they're already in their seats while we're trying to board. We're all decked out in our Browns gear and Chick starts booing and hissing as I went by....boooooohissssssBrownshisssssss. I leaned over and said, 'dude, I am actually from Cleveland, and I will throw shit at you'. So you can see the trip started out on a good foot. Our flight from Charlotte to New Orleans was held up while we waited for another group - nearly all were Browns fans so the party started on the plane. A good time was had by all, I got some fairly decent pics considering we just decided to go the disposable camera route. My favs are Dawg and the Tall Kid with the former Browns players. I'll either figure out a way to get them up some place or email a couple to you guys. The Bernie's Insiders head count was 753 plus there was a group from Ohio that came in, around 100. The New Orleans paper said about 2000 game tickets had gone to Browns groups. Needless to say, it was one big Brown&Orange party on Bourbon St.

From the 'Your Karma is Now Due' department:
Perhaps you remember 'Joey' from last year, suspect drink and all? I hadn't even known he was there but *bam* Sunday morning at the tailgate, he comes up to where a group of us were hanging out. We're inside the bar and he's got his sunglasses on but people are weird so I don't think much of it. Long story short, he's got the biggest freaking shiner I've seen in awhile, obviously fresh. He claims he was just dancing and next thing he knew, he was on his back, staring at the ceiling with a sore eye, the bouncers grabbed him and threw him out. Yeah, right. He didn't know the guy or anything, so he says, never even really saw him. Then he was gone. I thought it was generous of the Karma Police to let me be around to see that.
