Hi All,
Just got my internet back this afternoon and I am one happy camper. Now maybe my life will get back to normal or at least a sembalance of order. This place is just utter devastation once I get out of my little quiet neighborhood.

Thanks to all of you for your good thoughts and prayers. I just feel so blessed that we only suffered a little inconvenience and discomfort when I look around at all the people who have lost everything. 4 of my very best friends lost all their furniture with 4 to 7 feet of water. 1 of them not only lost all her furniture but her house as well...she had just moved in the week before Katrina - now there is nothing left but the brick retaining wall around the pilings........$2 million dollar house just gone..

They say we will not be able to eat anything from the surrounding waters for at least 2 years ... no shrimp, no fish, no oysters..........

Casinos are all gone....NO, L.O.L. I wasn't in one gambling but I might have been had one been open. Ha.... I always judge how bad a hurricane will be by when they close the casinos. Katrina got all of Mississippi's and Rita got the rest of Louisiana's.......Is God telling us something????

All my family fared very well and for that I am grateful.

Thanks again and man am I glad to be back connected to the world of internet again.
