i won Reading tickets on radio 1 last night. Quick, anyone reccomend any hard-rocking bands to check out? I'm fucked without the Benson, you know?

You have to check out 80s Matchboz B-line Disaster. Got their album, and it rocks. One of the few recent CDs thats had me bouncing around the room. My advice: get down the front.

Also, of course: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, BRMC etc.

My advice is as follows. Don't bother going to see any of the bands. Just wander around off your head with a walkman on and tape over your eyes, pretending you are making some kind of artistic statement which is being secretly filmed for bbc3. Or just nose about until you find something which you think sounds good.
