Ok first of all, I didn't blame our PATRONS - I blamed those who were NOT our patrons. I blamed the GENERAL PUBLIC. I was not pointing any fingers to anyone in particular. So unless you have changed your name to "general Goth society" I don't honestly understand why there is an attitude in your post.

Second of all - I don't know who you are, but I can almost guarentee you are not a club promoter, and have no idea how to run a business such as this. This is a delicate business, in which we are at the end left to the mercy of the crowd, not matter how much we do. And although we have all worked very hard to bring you this night, people still chose to go elsewhere or stay home. So in short - unless part of your Business Plan includes handcuffing people and dragging them to a club, I doubt you could do much better.

Third of all - being an experienced club person but not a very experienced club promoter, I always made it very clear that if anyone had any suggestions to make our nights better, they could ALWAYS feel free to make a comment and we would do our best to make it reality. If we were all doing such a poor job - why do you choose to raise your hand now when we are done instead of doing it when we had a choice?

I DO blame the general goth crowd. Facts are facts - we are closing because people didn't come. PEROID. For those who did come, I am sorry we have to go, and we appreciate your support - but the common rule is you cannot have a club open for business when your bar doesn't pay the rent. It's not personal, it's MONEY. THAT'S business.

If anyone wants to discuss this with me, feel free to come by Grimoire on it's last night. I'll be the one and only girl, in front, behind the cash register, taking donations for our last effort, being part of the business, and doing what I can to make our last night great and telling everyone I am sorry but we hope to see them in the future.

That's my business plan.
D
