I currently have 2 marantas, one is the more colorful one and seems to be doing well. It likes brightish light and to dry pretty well between waterings. The other is the lighter kind and seems to aspire to moving to the dumpster. I can't figure it out. One likes me and the other doesn't. Sorry I can't help.

They hate me equally. Stromanthe, any of this family... and I dearly love them! Just over water them, till you think they should be swimming, not just drowning. My MIL overwaters EVERYTHING, and her's look like they should be entered in a show.

I won't grow them now, just on principle... mainly the principle of my wallet. Why keep throwing money in the toilet and flushing it??? Speaking just for myself here!
