from The New Houseplant. I think many in the Marantaceae benefit from terrarium culture and frequent misting.
Stromanthe is the toughest I've found in the family. Nearly hard to kill.
And, before you toss out the pot, check the soil and see if you find some fat rhizomes or tuberish things in there. You might be surprised with something to grow on.
And if your Marantas are blue, send them here...
