My Rhapis palm, Fishtail AND Coconut palms are all doing well, each about 4' tall and the Rhapis ready for a new pot...
I didn't think I could do it. I've kept them all alive for months & months. Ta-da!!

your a specialist eh perl?
i didnt know you had trouble with palms.
i`ve yet to get my lil rhapis to grow a smigen.
i just put it in a smaller pot with some high hopes.

Good for you, perLite! I have a parlor palm in bloom. Not spectacular to look at but kind of cool just the same.

I took care of one in a law office for about 4 years. It bloomed every year. It really seemed to like its person. He was rather nice. Nice too, to remember all of those folks. They went and moved to, get this, the Transamerica Pyramid. Now why choose that over downtown Sonoma with a view of the Mission????
(I'll bet they thought hard about that last Sept 12). (sigh)

Heck. Gave in and got a variegated peace lily today. Actually I got two, the variegation seems different and two small starters will make a nicer, fuller looking plant. I hope the variegation stays different. They're so cute!

I can't remember for certain, but I think it's Prime Palm where I saw it. (palmcollector.com)
The thing's gorgeous. I love almost any plant with white variegation, like the Monstera (sigh....)... not yellow or ivory, but white. I like the contrast I guess.
Won't be ordering till after the Move, probably May (for my birthday, la la la...)
