Subject: Houseplants

I have grown hundreds of houseplants over time.
Since lighting is often a problem (too many sun-liking plants taking up the windowsills)--there are many unusuals that do fine in really little light.
Many of the Chamaedorea palms for example.
Also plants can acclimate a bit, but just may grow a bit differently. Clivia is nice too-
Enough for now. Its the time of year to enjoy houseplants in the north----not much outside------but I'm working on that----I want an outdoor 4 season garden with unusual nice looking plants----getting there!

There are so many Chamaedorea palms suitable as houseplants, its interesting to see how few are available in nurseries--at least around here. There are so many theres actually a book on just these plants which are just one fraction of all the palm types.
I like the unusual ones as well. I have given away over the years the more common ones to friends or brought to work.
