This is what I use and my children love it.
I usually will use a whole chicken and boil until it falls off the bone or left over chicken. If you use left over chicken make sure to save the juice from when you cook it. It will freeze for next use.
I add Mrs. Dash seasoning, onion, carrots, celery, corn, green beans, or what ever else I have as long as it does not have a distinguishing smell. I just cook until all vegies are done. Usually, I will use what ever veggies that I have left over from the week. I will just freeze them all in one bowl. It is ok to start the bowl one day and even keep adding a week or two later. This eliminates me from throughing a lot of food away and if there are different seasonings in the veggies it will add to the flavor. As long as it is not too drastic of different flavors.
