Miss Panamericana Contest 2004
To celebrate São Paulo’s 450th anniversary, De Francisco Promoções e Eventos, will promote on January 21st Contest SENHORITA PANAMERICANA.
Joining 32 countries to represent all the Americas and three special guests (Portugal, Spain and Italy), the contest SENHORITA PANAMERICANA will as its main purpose, pay homage directly to all immigrants that left their country and found in São Paulo, not just an opportunity and a new place to live, but a country to reconstitute their lives.
With several parallel activities to the great event, the candidates to the SENHORITA PANAMERICANA title shall stay in São Paulo from January 15 to 27,to know better the host city and the country that will receive them.
In addition to rescue our culture and to promote tourism, the Project has a voluntary character, the amount obtained with the tickets will be donated to charity works of to Fundo de Solidariedade do Estado de São Paulo.
From 2004 on, the contest will be annual, in occasion of the anniversary similarly as in other countries, the organizer’s cum is to include the contest in the municipal calendar of official events.
A) The contest is open for participants from all the Americas.
B) De Francisco is negotiating with Tourism and Development organisms is each country as well as with their diplomatic representatives for institutional.
C) The candidates can be from every state, but must be indicated or selected by a model agency or by a regional coordinator of a National Beauty Contest.
D) De Francisco holds the full power to select the Brazilian representative, that will participate to the contest.
E) As special guests there will be representatives from Portugal, Spain and Italy due to their strong contribution to the development of São Paulo and Brazil.
F) The Contest will take place on January 2004, in São Paulo, as part of the festivity of the city’s anniversary.
