Subject: What makes a person bad

there is a very simple and fundemental rule that everyone knows of but not everyone seems to understand " Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". A person is bad when they violate this rule. Go ahead. Do anything in the world that is conceivable to do, you are not evil or bad until you interact with another person, and do so in a way that violates this rule. There could be no war. There could be no suicide bombers and rapists and murderes if this simple rule were understood. So. Here is a further more complicated philisophical issue..... what's the big deal? Why is this simple rule not understood?
